It is a powerful blend of warm climate grapes from 2010 grown in the warm Southern Oregon Hills of Medford and the balanced soils of Wahluke Slope, Washington
The fruit flavors are dark and sweet – the blackest cherries and juiciest boysenberries come at your tongue full-tilt. The deluge of fruit mellows only slightly on the mid-palate, with some spiced black tea and forest floor notes filling the mouth. This lingers through the long finish brightened with a touch of acid and supported by fine tannins.
Aged to perfection, BEHEMOTH is ready to slurp on the deck or at book group, and pleasing to sip with your steak or pizza dinner. Delicious demon.
